I am pleased to announce a new YouTube channel has been started for the website. I am currently exploring how to best put content out which will benefit people.
In doing so, one series that has been started is an Adventure Game series with PyGame. PyGame is a great option for making 2D games quickly, and also having quite a bit of control. It's a great option for learning game programming, and similar to learning SDL2 with its built in renderer with C.
Purpose
This YouTube Channel has several potential benefits:
- To reach more people
- To help others create projects
- To provide students with DIY resources for making projects
- To provide more free-form content
- To make content more accessible
YouTube doesn't allow tutoring with people one-on-one, which can be effective for guiding a student through the material, and helping them succeed in their individual goals and learning. However, I think there are so many benefits to this!
